The RGS-P9160M2 series is a rack mounted network managed Gigabit Ethernet switch that can be expanded to 20 ports, including three models: RGS-P9160GCM2 series, RGSP9160GFM2 series, and RGS-P9160FXM2 series. The RGS-P9160M2 series offers 16 fixed gigabit composite ports/gigabit optical ports/100Mbps optical ports and 1 expandable module slot. Compliant with IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 standards, it can be fully applicable to the substation and rail transit industries. The RGS-P9160M2 series supports multiple network redundancy protocols, including O-Ring (self-healing time<30ms @ 250 switches), O-Chain, and MSTP (RSTP/STP), which can quickly recover in case of network failures and ensure uninterrupted communication for important applications. In addition to web-based, Telnet, and Console (CLI) line management and configuration, ORing also provides professional Open Vision network management software for centralized management and configuration of switches. Therefore, the RGS-P9160M2 series is an ideal choice for building fiber optic redundant Ethernet in substation applications.
